Sapporo Snow Fest

Taking place in Sapporo, Japan, the festival is one of the largest winter events of the country. Around 2 million people come annually to Japan at this time of the year especially to see the beautiful ice and snow sculptures.

The event takes place between the 8th and 12th of February and there are more than 250 sculptures exposed.

Harbin Ice Festival

Until the 12th of February you can pay a visit to China’s winter wonderland.❄️ The Harbin Festival is a huge celebration, there are fireworks, gigantic illuminated sculptures and numerous activities & competitions taking place in the capital of Heilongjiang Province.

The ice from which the sculptures are made is from the Songhua River and sculptors from all around the world come to compete.
