Corfu Island
Corfu, the greenest of the Greek islands is an old time favorite holiday spot among tourists. The island has picture-perfect landscapes and white sand beaches surrounded by emerald green water.

Kerkyra Old Town
Built between two fortresses, the Old Town of Corfu is both a historic and romantic city. The official name of the Old Town is Kerkyra.
The city is full of art, besides the fortresses, there are several museums where you can discover more about the island’s history. Two major places of interest are the Mon Repos and Achilleon summer palaces.

Paleokastritsa
It is considered to be one of the most picturesque beaches of these beautiful Greek islands.
Paleokastritsa is the only beach from Corfu covered in sand and it can get crowded in high season because of its amazing views.
However, the beach is very beautiful, it has huge green cliffs and there are many caves you can explore. If you take a boat trip to admire the caves, you should also stop to enjoy the underwater life of Corfu.
Myrtiotissa
Myrtiotissa is a tiny beach on the west coast of the island.
Many people chose to go here in peak season because of the beautiful views, calm sea and facilities on the beach.
Zakynthos Island
Zakynthos, “The Flower of the East”, as the Venetians used to call it, isn’t a regular holiday destination. In fact, the island is a well-known summer resort for its beautiful views, warm weather and blue sea surrounding the island.
Zakynthos city
There are tiny alleys and old houses with lovely courtyards which will fascinate your way along the island. In the Solomos Square, you can visit the Byzantine Museum to get a cultural throwback in time.
In addition, the square is close to the beach, so after a hot day of wandering around the city, you can take a bath in the clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea to cool down and relax.
Don’t forget to discover the ruins of the old Venetian castle.
Blue Caves
These beautiful Greek islands have several natural highlights. The blue caves are one of the most important ones. They are formed in the rocks of Zakynthos, at Makris Gialos beach, port Saint Nicholas and above the lighthouse in Cape Skinari.
You can go around in small boats with glass bottoms to admire the blue surface of the sea. Inside the caves, everything seems to turn blue due to the reflection of the blue water. This can be seen better at sunrise or sunset.
Beaches in Zakynthos
Navagio beach
Navagio is the hot spot of Zakynthos. The cove is isolated by high cliffs and it can be accessed only by boat.
Once you get there, you totally understand why everyone is in love with the place. The view is absolutely stunning and the turquoise water surrounding it only makes it more attractive.
Laganas resort
In the south of the island, you can find the Laganas resort, popular among tourists for the surrounding underwater caves and sea turtles, which can be seen in a snorkeling session around the resort.
Xigia Beach
Located on the northern Zakynthos, Xigia beach is famous for its underwater springs. The water can be colder than in other parts of the island but the sulfur in it makes it very healthy to bathe in.
