Pink Beach
The Pink Beach, located on Harbour Island, it is the Bahamas’s highlight. Its color comes from the remains of microscopical coral insects and it is more visible near the water. Moreover, the sand is cooler so you can walk barefoot on warm days. Also, the water is suitable for snorkelling and swimming.
Green Beach
Green sandy beaches can be found in Hawaii, in Kulula and Papakolea. These are the two places in the USA where you can relax on a green beach.
Although Papakolea is not easy to reach, you will have to hike 2.5 miles (4 km), the view is beautiful. The Olivine green (known as Hawaiian diamond) comes from the old cinder cone next to the beach which is mixed with the sand. You can find other green sand beaches in Hawaii. However, this beach has the most olivine crystals so the sand is the greenest of all.
Black Beach
Black sandy beaches are a thing. You can see this kind of sand where volcanic soil is found, such as in Hawaii, New Zealand, Iceland and Tenerife.
First of all, Punaluu Beach in Hawaii is the best spot to watch sea turtles. They choose the black sandy beaches because they can build their nest in them. Second, this area of Hawaii is suitable both for sunbathing and hiking.

Glass Beach
The famous Glass Beach is located in Fort Bragg, California. It used to be a city trash dump, but over the years, after it was cleaned up and only the recycled sea glass remained, it became popular. The glass pieces are very colourful and give the beach a cool look.
White Beach
Hyams Beach, mostly called White Beach, is known for its fine, soft and extremely white sand. Moreover, it was recognized by the Guinness Book of Record as the whitest beach in the world. You can find this dreamy beach in Australia.

Golden Beach
Gold sandy beaches are common in Portugal. The two “golden” places are Praia de Marinha, near Algarve and Praia de Guincho, close to Cascais & Lisbon.

Praia de Marinha received the “Golden Beach” award for its beautiful and natural sights. The beach is perfect for family vacations having clear water and soft sand. Also, snorkeling here is amazing, many sea creatures can be seen due to clear water.
Praia de Guincho
If you are a fan of water sports, this is the place to book for summer. Although, this is not the best place for a family vacation. Mostly because of the strong northern winds. But you can surf, kitesurf or windsurf easily in summer. ?
